To perform this setup, we will divide it into two parts: first, we will connect your email address to the Hablla platform, and then we will adjust the DNS entries on your company's domain server.

Before starting, it is important that you have an Administrator profile on Hablla and access to your company's email domain server. Don't forget to also create a Sector on Hablla creating a department in Hablla is essential to organize and categorize your company's interactions with customers.

First Part - Connection on Hablla:

  1. Once logged into your account, access the Studio. In the upper right corner of the screen, next to the initial of your name, you will find the Settings (gear) icon. Click it to open the settings menu.

  1. On the left side of the screen in the Settings menu, locate the Connections and Integrations.

  1. On this same screen you will find the Email integration, just click on the +Add on the Email.

  1. You will be directed to the Email configuration screen within Hablla. To continue, click on Start.

  1. Fill in the field with the name you want to identify this connection.

  2. Select the support sector you want, according to the desired area, and then click the Ok. For example, if you are from the Sales department, click this option. If it does not exist, create the department in Hablla before starting the integration procedure.

  1. In the domain field, enter the main address of your site (example: mydomain.com.br)

  1. If you want the emails to be stored in the same conversation, select Yes and then click on Ok.

  1. The first step of connecting the email was completed successfully. Now, let's move on to the second part of the configuration: adjusting the DNS entries on your domain server.

Why validate my domain?

Domain authentication is essential for Hablla to be able to send emails on behalf of your domain, ensuring its legitimacy with email providers. To configure it, you need to adjust the DNS entries in your domain or hosting provider's panel. This increases the chances of your messages reaching the inbox, strengthens the company's reputation, and reduces the risk of emails being marked as spam.

Second Part - Adjusting DNS Entries on the Server

  1. Click on Start to continue.

  1. You will need to log in to your DNS service. Open a new tab in the browser and access your hosting provider's panel. The most common services, such as Locaweb, UOL Host, Cpanel and Hostinger, offer specific guides to facilitate this process. Follow the appropriate instructions for your service and access the DNS settings.

  1. After logging in, you will need to locate and edit the DNS Zone. This section can be found under different names depending on your hosting provider. Look for terms such as Edit DNS, My Domains, Account Management or Advanced Settings.

Once in the correct section, you will be able to access the necessary settings to make changes to the DNS entries.

  1. When you find the DNS zone, you will need to create a new entry, following the instructions in the table below:

  • If you see the “TTL” field, enter 3600 seconds (one hour);

  • The server may use other names for the fields to be filled in such as: "Name", "Host", "Entry", "Value" or "Alias". You can enter the record in the same way;

  1. Then save the record!

Congratulations! You completed this step! Now just wait for your domain provider to confirm the propagation of the changes. Soon, you will be ready to make the most of the integration with Hablla!

To check if the configuration was successful, it should be verified on the site: WhatsMyDNS.

Additionally, include all the settings present in the "Host" field by accessing Connections and Integrations > Email > Connection name > Configure DNS. Use the information available in the "Host" field to ensure correct configuration.
